Elton Brand: A+
Mr. Consistency is finally getting league wide respect. Elton is just having another normal season, but this year he has a veteran PG to help him. Past few years he was stuck with a Marko Jaric, a Rick Brunson and a disgruntled Andre Miller. Averaging monster numbers of 25 points, 11 boards and 2.57 blocks per game. Mr. Underrated shows his skills once again.
Sam Cassell: A-
16 points, 7 assists and 4.3 rebounds and ranks 10th in the NBA in the assists to turnover ratio. Granted Sam is struggling shooting from the field, but if it wasn't for him and his veteran leadership, you have to ask yourselves if the Clippers would be 17-13 right about now. Sam's also cash from the FT line hitting about 90% of FT's attempted.
Chris Kaman: B+
9 points, 9 rebounds, shooting 50% and nearly two blocks per game while having ADD is just awesome. Not only that but Kaman might be starting to get somewhat consistent in the last few games. In the last 5 games Kaman is averaging 15.2 PPG/14.4 RPG and 1.6 blocks while shooting 52%. Now if only Kaman can continue to be consistent.
Corey Maggette: B
If it wasn't for injuries, Corey would be right up ahead of Sam and slightly behind Elton, but he has missed 17 games already this year. While on the court, it's a whole other story averaging 22 and 6 while getting to the line a whopping 9 times per game and hitting 87% of those foul shots. Now only if he could stay healthy.
Daniel Ewing: B-
About time the Clippers make a smart choice in the 2nd round by taking a Dukie! Last year they passed up on Chris Duhon for Lionel Chalmers and Chalmers is currently somewhere in Greece while Duhon is starting in the NBA. Back to Daniel, he's getting limited time but is proving to be possibly the best bench player the Clippers have with the injuries they are suffering.
Quinton Ross: B-
Has missed 7 games so far, but he is easily the best defending wing player the Clippers have and missing him is huge. Without Ross, the Clippers defense is at best mediocre. Once Ross and Maggs are healthy, watch for the ship to sail once again.
