The Boston Celtics won two games in a row for the first time this season after defeating Utah 108-89 yesterday. They now head out on a five game road trip and look to improve their 2-8-road record.
26th- Seattle 28th- Golden State 30th- Sacramento 31st Los Angeles Clippers
The Celtics have gone 5-6 in the month of December a far cry from my predicted 10-5.
The Celtics currently have 3 guys out 1 starter. Delonte West is day-to-day with a concussion, Tony Allen is still out with a knee that has bothered him since October 31st. Just recently Dan thingyau ruptured his Achilles Tendon and is gone for the rest of the season.
The Celtics stand at 11-14 right now good for 3rd in the Atlantic Division 2.5 games back of the 76ers.
Stat Player AVG Scoring P. Pierce 26.0 Rebound P. Pierce 8.1 Assists R. Davis 5.5 FG% A. Jefferson 53.2 FT% D. thingyau 100.0 3PT% M. Banks 57.1 Blocks K. Perkins 1.1 Steals P. Pierce 1.4
The statistical categories are quite spread out throughout the team and each player is playing with a purpose instead of Paul Pierce and Ricky Davis leading the team in everything.
At the moment I expect the Celtics to finish the season at a record of 37-45 like they did 2 seasons ago. The way that they have been playing I don’t expect much more. The Celtics will have to make a big move if they want to get the 40 to 45 win season.
