In the first half, the Detroit Pistons played their usual style of basketball. Their offence was clicking on all cylinders and their defence was putting stops together. However, in the second half the Utah Jazz showed the Pistons how to play team basketball. The Jazz moved the ball around the perimeter better and choose their shots more effeciently. The Pistons are usually one of the best teams at stoping spurts late in games, however in this game the Jazz mounted a 15-2 run in the fourth quarter which sealed the deal for the Jazz. Rasheed wallace finished the game with 16 points, 8 boards, and 2 assists. Kirilenko finished with 22 points on 9-16 shooting. He also finished with 12 boards and 7 assists.
NOTE: If fantasy owners were waiting for a breakout game before they add AK back to their line up i think this was it. AK looked a bit rusty still however he finally looked in sync with his whole team.
The Detroit Pistons defence has looked stagnent and non existant at most times. Big Ben seems to be expending more energy on offence then on defence. However they are still running most plays with him on the weak side. This would be fine except hes getting very few offensive rebounds. Big Ben is in a slump now but dont worry fantasy owners, he always turns it up in the latter months of the season.
